At "Maktoob" Lounge and Café, we don't long for the past with a sigh; we learn from it with joy. The past has taught us about the trade of used books; lending, borrowing and mending them, down the long streets, along the high walls, as well as at crossroads and circles of incredible Cairo. "When the reader has a will, the reader finds a way"; and looks for whoever can provide.
That's us! We have taken on the 20th century intriguing tradition of the economically consious reader into the 21st century. We are your "one stop" shop, offering a service which is organized and systemized. We don’t make promises we cannot keep, but when we know we can; we deliver, literary to your doorstep. (Yes, we do offer a book delivery service against a reasonable fee).
