About us
With an impressive 150 years of horticultural and garden centre experience, here at Canterbury Garden Centre we have a friendly team of dedicated staff who will be delighted to assist you with any aspect of outdoor life, whether this is help and advice on plants, planting scheme ideas or showing you our range of garden furniture, cane conservatory furniture or some unusual gift items and ideas.
We were accepted as members of The Garden Centre Association in 2011. The Association is made up of many of the country’s leading garden centres belong to the Garden Centre Association and each one has to achieve a high level of good business practice before they can be accepted as an Approved Member.
We offer a Two Year Plant Guarantee on all our hardy nursery stock, providing the plant has received appropriate care and attention and you can produce a valid receipt showing your purchase.
We stock a wide range of seasonal plants, such as bedding plants, alpines and pond plants. We also stock an excellent range of roses, climbing plants, trees and shrubs.
We also have a lovely relaxed restaurant, called Groves Restaurant, serving morning coffee and cakes, light lunches or afternoon tea in a bright and relaxing atmosphere, overlooking our stunning plant area.
We can cater for your business meetings, friendly catch ups with friends, or just someone to go and to grab a coffee and a bit of freshly baked cake.
