  I am looking to make a Victorian court coat but it has very large amounts of embroidered work on it, in panels or blocks, acanthus leaves oak leaves and acorns in light gold. I can make cloths but embroidery is not at all my thing. I am thinking may be lace motifs if one can get gold lace motifs that look like these leaves. Any other ideas would be be helpful and where to get them from in the UK. Thank you.The photograph will give you some idea of the scale. I know that it is raised embroidery and that lace work would not be.
