  I want to have a very special restaurant meal celebration with Marion this Sunday. Since we don't go out to eat much I was hoping that my facebook friends in the Chicago area might come up with some suggestions. Price is an object but we're not eating at McDonalds. I like all cuisines that I've ever tried so don't rule out those Ethiopian, Indian or Hispanic gems that you know of. If we go to the restaurant that you recommend I will send you a personal thank you note on a beautiful water-color card from the Moab, Utah area. That is if the food is actually good, we don't get food poisoning and we enjoy the atmosphere. (:-)

  One of my favorite cuisine's is high-end Thai, and perhaps the best such restaurant is Arun's in Chicago. Besides the stellar food, the atmosphere/ambience is one of the nicest I've experienced. Only wish we could join you - maybe next year :-). See http://www.arunsthai.com/aruns.html
