  Anyone out there that can recommend a good back/ortho doc in Carr/lewisville/flower mound area? I have herniated disc issues and am in search of a good doc that won't immediately recommend surgery but consider other alternative pain relief.

  Hi Darlene..Texas Back Institute is great place to go for back problems. I had herniated disk with pinched nerve. I had the steroid shot first, but I did have back surgery. I was walking the next day after surgery. I have had no back problems since surgery. The doctors are great. Good Luck. Lee They have office in Flower Mound. www.texasback.com

  Texas Back Institute will always try to fix back pain with anti-inflammatory medications or epidural steroid injections before surgery is considered.
