  HELP Our garage door opener motor is fried (according to the guy who charged me $65 for an answer I already knew) he quoted $500 for a new one. Anyone have to replace the garage door opener have the same cost? We are not handy enough to do it ourselves so we will have to pay someone, I just think $500 sounds crazy.
