[UPDATE Ember has been rehomed. Thank you all!]
Some of you may have seen my post about Ember, my very gentle feral mare. Someone came out to get her and she would not catch, and once she did catch she would not load (although she came close). She had a bad experience toward the end of that ordeal and I cannot get a halter on her even when she's in a stall now because she gets too worked up. A few months ago I was putting saddle pads and tarps over her.
The rescues I've contacted have replied to me with recommendations of vets who can euthanize her, and animal control (who was called because I had left a lead rope attached to her halter) worked with her a bit and told me she'd probably have to be put down. I'm at the end of my rope. I am going out of state for work on June 10th and she needs to find a home before then.
Bring your own crew. Please PM me if interested.
