Urgent: Dermatologist needed for Scalp Burning / possible nerve damage Hello,
My girlfriend and I live in the GTA, Etobicoke to be precise.
My girlfriend has had a horrible scar spreading across her scalp for months now. It is burning, and there is MAJOR hairloss that accompanies anywhere where the scar spreads. She is very stressed, miserable, and in so much pain and distress from it that she can not live her life normally.
We have been to multiple dermatologists in Toronto, and have yet to receive a diagnosis, but it is possible that it is Lupus.
Every derm we see is of little help, or outright dismissive.
This has been ongoing for months now, and we are losing hope.
If anyone has any advice on a dermatologist to look into we would be extremely grateful.
We have tried Bay Dermatology, but they were of no help, just so you know at least one we have been to.
Again thanks so much for the advice!

https://www.avantderm.com/ this place has a rapid access clinic that I’ve heard good things about

Avantderm in the distillery district has same day system if you have a referral. Seems like your family doctor is useless but hopefully can send over a referral.

AvantDerm in distillery has walks ins. Try to reach by 7 am to get the first spot. Also they do need a referral from your doc
Hello,
Could anyone recommend me a good dermatologist in the area? I have recently developed cyst acne even though I never suffered from acne before. At a loss for what to do. Help !

Dermatologist in Toronto recommendations? Hi everyone! My parents are pushing me to see a derm about my PIH and I figured I'd go if they were going to foot the bill. I currently use a vit C serum, niacinamide, AHA, and retinol, and religious use of sunscreen and it doesn't seem to be fading AT ALL.
Does anyone know of a good derm in the GTA? What treatments are best/effective in treating PIH and what are the general price ranges for them? Thanks so much!

I feel like I saw a post on a walk-in derm clinic in Toronto. I could be wrong, but people were pretty impressed with this which is why it caught my attention (it could be another city in the east). I'm also Canadian and interested in seeing a dermatologist, but I think you need a referral from your GP. Then the wait is outrageously long depending on where you are (6 months to a year, so I've heard). I'd like some clarification on this if someone knows the real drill with seeing a derm in Canada? Sorry to jump in on your post OP :) Edit: Yes here it is, [the walk in clinic.](http://www.avantderm.com/)
