Any suggestions for a Notary training course in Los Angeles area? Hi Redditors,
I'm looking for any suggestions for Notary training courses in the Los Angeles area. There were so many choices in the approved vendor list, so I was not sure which one to pick. Also, does anyone recommend online courses vs in person?
Thank you!

Go on nationalnotary.org and sign up an online class for your state. Super easy
PA Class Recommendations? I'm interested in becoming a Notary in Pennsylvania, which requires the completion of a three-hour notary public basic education course before you can apply and take an exam. Does anyone have a recommendation for a thorough and well structured course? [There are a lot of options for education.](https://www.dos.pa.gov/OtherServices/Notaries/Resources/Pages/Education-Providers.aspx#.VIikLclRqPI)
Also, any opinions on whether any of the "Package" options are a good deal? Such as the one from [Notaries.com](https://www.notaries.com/pennsylvania/) that includes the class, notary bond, and a stamp, or others that are more expensive but might include more. Or is it better to get everything separately? does it even matter?
Any advice appreciated! Thanks.
Notary? Does anyone know anywhere I can get a document notarized amid all the COVID closures? The UPS store isn’t doing them and they told me the local banks aren’t either.

http://www.nationalnotary.org/ Got licensed and bonded through here and it's much faster. They say 2-10 weeks, but I think mine always take 2 weeks, if that. Then you have to renew it in 4 years.
Yes. Go online to Nationalnotary.org & download the form. You can also get it from the county clerk's office. You need to have it signed by a state senator, then take it to the county clerk with a check for their fee.
