About us

Life & Death Tattoos is a modern, expanding studio & strives to produce the very best in tattoo art. Owned & run by John Lewis - alongside him is tattooists Will Geary, Aaron Breeze, Jay Watson & studio manager/tattoo apprentice Nathan Davies.

Life & Death Tattoos is situated in Frankwell, in the heart of Shrewsbury, Shropshire in the UK.

John Lewis first opened the doors in 2009 under the guise of Tattoos by Lewis, tattooing out of the back of a sunbed shop. Shortly after that the reputation of John went from strength to strength, forcing him to take the next step & establish a hard working, creative studio & in 2014 Life & Death Tattoos was born.

We provide a free design consultation in which you can bring ideas and pictures to show us, so we can work with you to create some fantastic art you will be proud to wear.
