Would love to hear recommendations for a great travel agent. Planning a once in a lifetime trip to NYC and not familiar with it whatsoever. Need a professional!

What do you want to do in NY? I don't think you need a travel agent for a NYC trip either. And the more indy boutique hotels are not as expensive as the big box hotels, so if you don't mind quirk- I'd stay in the theatre district at the Paramount. You can go to the 9-11 museum that's very interesting ( but sad)- you can go to Eataly, and or Chelsea Market, and the New York Public Library, getting to the Statue of Liberty is easy, as well as Ellis Island. You can get everywhere easily on the subway, or plan on spending more than you want on Taxi's. This is a great walk ( see attachment) The High Line-There is a lot of museums and art, and areas like Soho or the East Village. http://www.thehighline.org/
looking to spend a few hours in NYC tomorrow afternoon. Any recommendations of an area to go to grab some quality food, coffee, walk around, perhaps do some shopping, that is NOT Times Square?

Can anyone recommend the best restaurant they've eaten in in New York? Heading in three weeks & want to book one fab restaurant as a treat! Maybe steakhouse? Thanks guys ;-)

Fair enough, Peter Lugers for out & out steak house. If u like italian or are going to a broadway show check out Carmines, just off Times Square. Also The Standard Hotel is well worth a visit. Beauty & Essex for Brunch. And Blue Smoke barbeque is meant to be excellent but haven't been there. And if you're out sight seeing, this is meant to be amazing, though I haven't been there myself yet: www.thehighline.org!
