Seeking for experience, recommendation to dine in a old London restaurant Hi there,
I plan to visit London for a few days with family. We are thinking of having a dinner in old restaurant to experience the fantastic culture and dining tradition. In meanwhile we also heard that some old restaurant do request a restricted dress code. Therefore I want to get your experience, recommendation as a foreigner to dine in London.
BTW, I am Chinese from Shanghai.
Cheers,

"Rules" Near covent garden, dates from 1798 or something http://rules.co.uk/
Looking for a restaurant in or around Covent garden. Preferably british food as there will be quite a few of us and not everyone likes Indian / Chinese / Italian etc Looked on Trip Advisor but there are so many it would take for ever to decide. Just thought someone might have some thoughts / recommendations

Any Laaandoners out there recommend a good restaurant for celebrating my Dad's 70th? Tried Moro, Ottolenghi, Brasserie Zedel and Chez Elles but can't accommodate our size group on date we want. Cheers.
