Soy free donut in Edmonton As someone with a soy allergy, I’ve been on the hunt for a donut. I still haven’t found one.
I’m basically looking for somewhere that makes a doughnut from scratch in-house that either uses butter or canola oil but not soybean or ‘vegetable oil’. Also, cannot have soy lecithin.
Here’s where I’ve looked:
- Tim Hortons (all baked goods have soy)
- Hazeldean bakery (vegetable oil includes soybean oil)
- Doughnut Party (all dough has soy)
- Destination Doughnuts (all dough has soy)
- Grocery store bakeries (Safeway, Save on, Superstore) all use soybean oil
Any other suggestions?
Thank you!

Try Bliss Baked Goods, I requested soy and dairy free before but I’m not sure what they use as a substitute. https://www.blissbakedgoods.ca
