Do I have any friends who know a thing or 2 about workouts using a back pack while on my urban hikes? I could use some advice for low impact exercises I can do that don't involve fast, jarring movements. The one's I saw on line are a bit to much for my spinal damage and other bullshit that's wrong with me.
I am thinking about collaborating with a Physical Therapist to design a simple but effective workout involving a weighted pack, walking and some simple exercises. It would be cheap if not free and could be done almost anywhere. I just need to be sure I don't make my issues worse or I would have to stop to avoid injury and inflammation.
Any advice or recommendations of somebody to help would be appreciated. I am down about 12 to 16 pounds over the last month and a half and want to keep losing as I build strength.
