They have offered a payment plan, but using a payment plan ads an extra $500 onto the price, which I believe is pretty unfair, and the only option for payments is $200 a month, which for a student at uni, is massive, can anyone suggest another good orthodontist, and also one that doesn't charge $100 just for a consult?

  Gullotta Orthodontics is where I got my braces. I've had them for 2.5 years now and paid $7000 - that was for clear top brackets, would have been around $6500 then with all metal brackets I think :) Dr Gullotta is great and does payment plans too :) and pretty sure he does free consults now. Definitely worth it! I got them on at 19 and my teeth are looking more amazing all the time. I definitely think when it comes to your teeth, you shouldn't try to find the cheapest. I went to a few consults and went with who I felt most comfortable with, not who was cheapest.
