  Try some of the online agencies, or if you don't mind paying a placement fee try Diamond Personnel or Nannies On Call. Canadian Nanny is a fairly decent online site. Just make sure you do your due diligence, check references etc before making a choice. Good luck.   We have had great experiences with Nannies on Call ( nanniesoncall.com ). They are expensive but sometimes you just need a sitter or a date night! We have come to know a few regulars so you are able to ask for a specific nanny. All have been great with my 2.5 year old!

  We've used "Nannies on Call" for evening sitters... they have been amazing (although a bit $$). But all are qualified nannies with background checks, experience, CPR, first aid, etc. etc. My husband called one woman Mary Poppins smile emoticon http://www.nanniesoncall.com
