I cannot stand my current one and the very idea of calling her has me very publicly advertising for a new one on the internet. Can anyone recommend someone in Mount Pleasant, Kits, East Van, Downtown or points beyond who might be willing to take me on? I am beyond caring if it's a woman, as long as he/she seems to know their stuff and will actually listen to me, I'm happy. I also like a bit of flexibility around using my naturopath etc as well (I don't just go with the naturopath as it is not in my current budget). I know finding a new GP in this province is spotty, at best, so if you can make recommendations for me and pave the way, that would be SUPER - I promise to be a good patient and to make regular visits (or whatever it is that doctors like us to do).   I have been a patient of Dr Shirley Schwab for over 10 years. She is at Georgia/Granville. She might be taking new patients ~ the number is 604.687.7951. Her assistant is Darlene, who answers the phone. She is a sweetheart. Tell her you're my friend which may help you jump a queue if there is one (Carina, she doesn't know me as Cari) xoxoxo
