Okay, this is for all the women in the group: do you like your gynecologist? If you do, who are they? I'm looking for a new gynecologist and I would love your recommendations.
I am looking for a doctor. Just a general practitioner. Anybody recommend a good doc in NYC?

Lmao they are the best. Saw a Gastro there after years of issues and he cured me. Apparently they changed their name to Columbia midtown doctors http://www.columbiadoctors.org/patient-care/midtown
Can anyone recommend a good orthopedist or physiatrist for (upper) back issues? I hate trying to find someone "cold" via my insurance list, especially and disliked the one I found earlier this year. FWIW, I have Health Republic/Magnacare.
Doug L. replied:
Columbia has a large team of back/spine experts, including a newly expanded spine practice at The Allen Hospital. Good place to start is http://columbiaortho.org/ or ColumbiaDoctors.org. (I work for Columbia.)

Check the directory at ColumbiaDoctors.org. We have some of the best in the world practicing at 168 th St. (Or look at columbiaortho.org.) I can personally vouch for a hand specialist and a knee/elbow expert.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good general practice doctor either in the neighborhood, riverdale, or upper west? I'm especially looking for someone who takes Oxford health insurance and Aetna too, if possible. Thanks!
