Recommendations for fancy, fine-dining type restaurants? Hey r/minneapolis.
I want to take my wife out to a really nice restaurant. We're pretty familiar with a lot of area restaurants, but tend to avoid the really expensive places and end up at spots like Brasa, Townhall Tap, Matt's, etc.
Does anyone have any recommendations for fine-dining type restaurants? The type with a nice, quiet atmosphere where we can get dressed up and not feel out of place?

I would recommend [Haute Dish](http://haute-dish.com/). The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is laid back, and I don't think you would feel out of place if you were dressed up a little.

Haute Dish, La Bella Vie, Piccolo, Tilia, The Bachelor Farmer, Saffron or any of the downtown steak houses. I tend to favor the Bachelor Farmer just because the Marvel Bar downstairs is soooo damn good.
