Need some inspiration: Non-Diamond Engagement ring? Hi Reddit - Would love to get your advice. Looking to get a engagement ring and thinking about a non-diamond (sapphire?) ring and would love to get some inspiration from you guys. My SO likes vintage jewelry but also simple and elegant design. Normally with gemstones I've see a lot of halo and other flowery (don't know what it is called) designs and I don't think that's for her. I've checked out [thenaturalsapphirecompany](http://www.thenaturalsapphirecompany.com) and [gemvara](http://www.gemvara.com) but haven't seen anything that really jumps out at me. Budget is around 15k USD. My goal is to get her "something different" but in a understated and classy way.
Any other sites or jewelers you would recommend?
Any rings that you guys think would be a good fit?
Should I just go for a diamond?
Thanks in advance!

I would avoid both those sites if you're looking for gemstones. I would check the recommended vendor list on the colored stones forum on pricescope.com. some standouts from there are sites like earthstreasury.com and precisiongem.com. For a nice vintage style setting, check out singlestone.com (even if you don't buy from them, there is plenty of inspiration!)
looking for a designer/seller that makes rings inspired by antique rings Hey all, im not sure if this is the best place to post, buuut I was windering if anyone knows of an online engagment ring sellers/desingers that sell modern rings inspired by older vintage/antique rings possibly art deco or edwordian style etc. Ive seen sellers on etsy selling the original rings, but in general it looks to my untrained eye that the quality isnt that great...so i was wondering if theres any designers out there that specialise in desings that is inspired by this.
Any help would be much appreciated!
P.s in europe (UK (london) especially) would be super helpful but not the most important thing
