  Doug & I love, love, love Dr. Farzana Haq at www.emkiro.ca. Although the Emkiro offices themselves are a Walk-in/Health Services Center (I found that to be a slight turnoff on my first visit), she is a gem and is completely a family doctor, giving us total care and coordinating us with any specialists we need both here and in the US. She's just the best.

  Dr. Sarah Cook is my family doctor, and I find her very nice and honest. Perhaps she is taking new clients. She works at Emkiro (www.emkiro.ca) - call and ask?

  I highly highly highly recommend Emkiro Healthcare. It's made for young professionals, they are fantastic. Apart from the really friendly healthcare staff, they have a great scheduling system: you only can book appointments a week in advance starting every Wednesday so you generally never wait more than a couple of days for an appointments. And when you get there for your appointment I've never waited more than 10-15 minutes to see the doctor. I know there are doctors there currently taking new patients when I asked recently so you should be good. Check it: http://www.emkiro.ca/
