  hi , need some advice regarding a stray dog hit and run case. my friends in new bombay have admitted this dog " Jacky" in the Bombay veterinary hospital. we have taken the required x- rays and it shows a broken vertebrae. as per the doctors there's a huge risk in operating him and they haven't performed such a operation at that institute. the easiest option as per them is to put him to sleep. i have known Jacky for the past 2 years when i was residing in New Bombay for some time. a very friendly dog , happy and energetic. He's in lot of pain and he's not been given any painkillers, which we got and got it administered . now if we have to take a second opinion we have to get him discharged from the hospital. i really don't want to give up on him and take the easy way out. is it possible to keep him at your nursing home for a few days so that we can show him to other doctors and make sure the medicines are administered regurlary. also if you can recommend any doctors / surgeons would be a great help. can i visit and talk to someone personally tomorrow. regards Vinod Narkar

  IDAIndia.org has a hospital and ambulance in Chembur .. They are very prompt from what we've experienced.
