  Visiting Oceanside in March, need recs. I've spent a lot of time in California, even married there, but haven't had the pleasure of visiting Oceanside specifically. My sister actually lives in Costa Mesa but again hasn't spent time in Oceanside. We are doing a family trip there in six weeks and would love to get some restaurants, brewery, winery recommendations. Anything special to Oceanside or the area in general (within 20-30) minutes that you would suggest? We are staying right on the beach and will be there plenty, weather prohibiting. About eight miles south of the [California Welcome Center](https://visitoceanside.org/blog/faq-california-welcome-center-oceanside/). Oceanside has the [California Surf Museum](https://surfmuseum.org/).
