About us
I’m Kylie, The Cat Lady Norwich, and I’m based in central Norwich (St Benedicts Street), so if you live in NR1, NR2, NR3, or NR7 and looking for a top rate alternative to using a cattery when you are away from home for your precious feline friends, you’ve come to the right place! I cater to all types of bookings – if you’re going away for holidays, weekends away, work trips, or simply because you can’t keep asking your neighbours!
Cats are very territorial creatures, and love their home comforts, so why would you want it to be any different when you go on holiday, weekends away or work trips? It saves them the stress of the cattery itself, as well as you the stress of getting them there! Even while some cats thrive in a cattery environment, you will instantly see the difference that staying at home makes on your return.
As stated above, I cover NR1 (City & North), NR2, NR3, & NR7 with a no holes barred service - once or twice daily visits, or more if needed on medical grounds, but I can cover surrounding postcodes depending on availability. I have 5* status on Facebook and Google, and am fully insured with a current DBS check. Not only does cat sitting help your cat feel at ease when you’re away, it also provides the essential service of making your house look lived in, a great way of reassuring yourself that your home is safe and secure.
Qualified in Pet Business, Feline and Canine First Aid and fully insured - I have owned all kinds of animals from cats, dogs, birds, fish and reptiles, and have experience with horses and small furries as well. No job is too small and all pets are given the correct care and attention that they need. I don’t have a set visit time, this all depends on your cats’ personality, although the maximum amount of time I will stay is around 45 minutes.
All bookings are subject to a meet and greet key collection. Due to the volume of bookings, I can only schedule meet & greets in the month before a booking... show more commences (sometimes slightly earlier at peak times), so that information is fresh, and your cat remembers me on our first visit! I will also need to collect a spare key, so please make sure you have one ready for me when i come. If for any reason a spare key isn't ready for me to collect at meet & greet, i am happy to provide my home address for you to drop a key off at your convenience, in time for the booking. Once we have met I am usually very flexible (except for peak times) and can tailor to short notice bookings as well as in advance, and I offer a Secure Key Holding scheme where I hold keys for your property to make it more streamlined when booking, and means theres someone around with a spare key should you have an emergency! I also offer a final update for all bookings via email on a checkout list, so that I can ensure your pet is left clean and happy, and so that you know as well!
