LASIK...who's gotten it done? Was it successful? Any negatives?Who was your doctor? Interested in recommendations in LA area. Thanks!

I had LASIK almost 4 years ago and highly recommend it. I went to Dr. Maloney (maloneyvision.com) who is pretty pricey. It was magical -- I had the procedure first thing in the morning, went home and took a nap, and woke up with perfectly clear vision. My bad eye has gone about .5 nearsighted again, but I still don't need glasses. I didn't wear contacts before, so to not have to wear prescription sunglasses or scuba goggles anymore is really nice.
Does anybody have experience with LASIK eye surgery? Looking into it & had some questions & recommendations for doctors…?

Jeb. Look into Maloney vision institute http://www.maloneyvision.com/ He is located in LA, he is one of the Drs that invented RK, then Lasik, and other advancements in vision. He did mine over 30 yrs ago, and I just now need reading glasses Bart had his done back the too. He needed it again, and last yr his vision in one eye was 20/300 (yes legally blind). He now has 20/20 in back in that eye. Good luck!!!
Has anyone had laser eye surgery? And any recommendations on a surgeon in the LA/OC area? How much did you pay?

Dr. Maloney is very good. My dad went to him. He was amazing. He does LASIK for a lot of movie stars and professional athletes. http://www.maloneyvision.com/
