Total pavement replacement is an expensive proposition($$$$$). Sealing the pavement every 2-5 years is a cost effective way to maintain pavement condition without having to replace the pavement. Sealing minimizes the amount of water that can percolate into the pavement system and subgrade and cause greater pavement distresses. Seal coating is money well spent to maintain your pavement investment. Add striping in addition to sealing and you have the look of "new" without the high cost of total replacement.
