  Picking the brain of Crouchenders: I am looking for a place to hire for a singing weekend within 80 miles of London - January 2016, for around 10-15 people, two nights, around £500 all in, not grim (i.e. grotty bunkhouses) with a good sized common/living room for 10-15 people to work in. It could be a retreat centre, Air bnb, hostel, a regular house. Aside from YHA hostels I am not finding much to fit the bill. Have you used such a place or know someone who has one? Thanks

  Not really - but I get sent a lot of info about self-catering for work and Lincolnshire is always a bargain. Like this one which says it does quotes based on £20 pp per night: www.barnbreaks.co.uk
