I won't get into too much detail since it's not exactly pleasant, but it's not exactly a dire emergency at the moment in that my toe isn't about to fall off and there isn't any pain or anything. obviously it would behoove me to see a doctor about it ASAP, but should I go to my primary doctor first and have him refer me to a foot doctor or should I just skip a step and look for a podiatrist that's takes my insurance?
