Please say YES! :) LA RIVER CORP SEEKS LARGE ART PIECES FOR URBAN GARDEN PARTY The LA River Corp is throwing their 5th Annual Urban Garden Party, a celebration that brings together civic leaders and change-makers who support transforming the LA River into a grand public destination. This year we will be honoring Senator Kevin De Leon and renowned architect Frank Gehry for their innovative leadership along the LA River. The event is on September 27th at the historic Vibiana in Downtown LA, featuring provisions by Chef Neal Fraser of Redbird, performances by Lucent Dossier and an interactive pop-up art garden. The Rio Vistas Art Garden will showcase the kind of playful design and public art that could be along the LA River. We are currently looking for large art pieces to help populate the garden that reflect the diverse, fun and entrepreneurial spirit of the LA River.
