  Depending on what size it is my company can get a water heater installed for you for around $700-$800 (I'll get some more accurate pricing from my boss tomorrow). That wouldn't include any work that may or may not be necessary to get it up to code. Tankless water heaters are great, but if you already have a traditional water heater its probably not worth the investment to install one. Depending on the tankless water heater and what would be necessary to install it you could be looking at $2000+ for a tankless installation.
