Describe a typical work day for you?
The tasks include patient care, new patient consultation, treatment planning, education of others (staff, patients, other dental professionals), communication with other professionals regarding integrated treatments, however, the thrust is to be the best part of everyone's day and to become at least a little better ourselves everyday.
From where do you draw your enthusiasm and inspiration for the job?
It is a combination of the thrill of simply serving other humans (orthodontically, yes, but also just as another supportive human helping them make an important, positive change in their life) and the incredibly exciting practice of orthodontics, as it exists today (which has evolved so much over my 20+ years in the field, offering so many many appealing choices to people of all ages and lifestyles).
How can a customer ensure that they receive the best possible service from you?
By coming in for a complementary, obligation-free initial consultation. This is an opportunity to learn what my opinion is regarding their orthodontic situation, but more importantly, a chance to see if they connect with myself, the team, and our philosophy of service and care. Orthodontics at our practice is very much a relationship, so as with any other important relationship in one's life we encourage folks to experience being with us and then choosing to move forward!
What has been your most memorable experience on the job?
Witnessing and participating in a life-transforming process where I help someone feel as good about themselves as they had always wished they could.
