5 full days of shooting, networking, portfolio building, inspiration, encouragement, instruction, experience, exposure, support and fun. Each Bikini Shoot Camp event features an IBMS model, photographer or magazine.
For each Bikini Shoot Camp, The IBMS rents a mansion for 5 days. Models, photographers, magazines, hair and make up teams and more gather from around the globe to make magic happen.
Bikini Shoot Camps are much more closely knit than our larger events. These events are a great way to get to know your IBMS Family and build stronger, more personal professional relationships with other industry professionals and with the founders of The IBMS, Patrick and Elina McKinney.
Patrick and Elina McKinney personally attend each Bikini Shoot Camp and stay on location with you at the mansion. They are there each and every day to motivate, inspire, encourage, support and teach you. They even cook and work out with you, too! Bikini Shoot Camps have a strong IBMS Family environment.

IBMS industry professionals are now traveling the world living their dreams and have been featured on the covers of Playboy, exclusively in Maxim, FHM, Esquire and countless other magazines. They have appeared in television commercials, become spokes models for numerous companies, signed contracts with numerous swimwear companies and have become some of the most sought after professionals in the industry. Industry professionals have traveled from as far as Australia, Czech Republic, Japan, Iceland, the Netherlands, Canada, France, England and around the globe for the opportunity to skyrocket their professional careers.
No other company out there draws together hundreds of models, photographers, magazines, designers, industry professionals and more to one location for one week to produce thousands of images, hundreds of publications and countless opportunities.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
The IBMS Bikini Shoot Camp is designed to be a functional networking tool and career building experience.
During Bikini Shoot Camp, you will have the opportunity to meet, network, shoot and build professional relationships with up to 30 models, 10 photographers and members of The IBMS Family. Bikini Shoot Camps consist of 5 full days of shooting, networking, portfolio building, instruction, experience, exposure, support and fun.
WHAT DOES AN AVERAGE DAY AT BSC LOOK LIKE?
Bikini Shoot Camps are different from typical “photography workshops.”
At a typical photography workshop, one model will pose while numerous photographers shoot the same shot at the same time. Instead, during Bikini Shoot Camp, models and photographers will pair together for individual photo shoot sessions for up to an hour at a time. We believe this offers more of an opportunity to network with others and improve your skills hands-on.
There will be a “Model Mentor” and a “Photographer Mentor” present during each Bikini Shoot Camp. Bikini Shoot Camp mentors will be there along the way to give advice and help you with whatever you need throughout the day.
Bikini Shoot Camps will begin before sunrise each morning and will end after sunset each night. It is not mandatory to be present each day at sunrise or stay each night until sunset, but it is highly recommended so that you can take advantage of every shooting and networking opportunity.
Each morning at Bikini Shoot Camp, we will begin with a team meeting. During this meeting, Bikini Shoot Camp organizers will talk about what the plans are for the day, answer questions, recap on the previous day, etc.
We will also plan numerous off site shooting locations during each Bikini Shoot Camp.
During most Bikini Shoot Camps, there will also be a “Miss IBMS Regional Model Search” held one or two nights at a local venue. IBMS Regional Model Searches are open to all models and all photographers to participate. ARE THERE ANY RULES OR STANDARDS AT BSC?
The International Bikini Model Search and Bikini Shoot Camp strive to produce clean, professional, respectful and tasteful events.
We do not allow any illegal or inappropriate behavior, activities, drug use or anything related in that manner to take place during our events. Any of these actions will result in an automatic removal from the event and all future events. Any violators will also be escorted offsite and asked to leave the event. We have great respect for every industry professional and we ask that you represent yourselves and uphold yourselves in a positive, respectful and professional way.
