  ^^ David Carlson: Are you referring to the Pronghorn Ranch subdivision in PV, or is there an AZ town I don’t know about? If northern PV: yeah, there are a number of subdivisions not covered yet by CableONE’s infrastructure. Have you tried the three local line-of-sight microwave providers? If you have line-of-sight with Glassford Hill or Mt. Mingus or a couple other of their towers, you might be able to get significantly better service through them then CenturyLink. Plus I have NOOOOO problems recommending to folks that they get off of CenturyLink, they treated us so horribly when I was IT Manager of a local enterprise business. o Mile High Networks — <http://milehighnetworks.net> o Bolt Internet (formerly Bulleri Networks) — <http://boltinternet.com> o SpeedConnect (formerly CommSPEED) — <http://www.speedconnect.com> There are also options using cell data cards through mobile routers (the Kyocera KR2 router being my all-time favorite device for use with data connection cards from cell carriers). But this would likely just provide the bandwidth you have already at increased cost. But since the Kyocera KR2 could be powered off 12VAC from a car, truck, or mobile home, you could wire in a headache-free badass mobile WiFi hotspot if you wanted to! <http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/wireless-networking/kyocera-kr2-mobile-router> You may end up being in one of those “hard to scratch” areas in PV, as occurred to us when we did work for a couple of years at the PV sewage treatment plant in the wash off Fain Road (no towers visible; no CableONE; before cel modems; on the edge of what Qwest ADSL could handle). …but you never know; it’s worth a shot.

I tried to get it myself and the tech was very nice, but he was only able to get a 50% signal at my house, so he recommended not going with it. My only choices were Mediacom and 3MBit ATT DSL.
