  Whay washers are you talking about? Post a pic. But if the play isn't in the joint (transmission side of shift shaft) then a Energy Suspension bushing kit will tighten it up. Look on ebay or JHPusa.com for the kit. Fairly cheap.

  Who do you guys recommend for some custom dash work? I want to get 8 gauges custom mounted into my dash following an oval OEM pattern of cutouts for my HVAC and factory radio buttons. I no longer have a radio. I want the gaguges mount 3 vertical rows of 3,3,2 and I want them to be flush. I don't want "almost perfect" I want it to fit perfectly. I have heard decent things about AVI, but I am open to recommendations. This fab work probably isn't a job for the typical stereo installer.
