JoJo's Nursery is owned by Joanne (Jo) Slater and opened in the Summer of 2016.
Working as a professional business woman, Jo became frustrated at how difficult it was to find local quality childcare for her own two children.
In order to address the issue head on, and after much deliberation, she retrained as a professional childminder in 2004, and subsequently started Jo's Kids, working out of the family home.
Over the last ten years Jo has established a reputation, not only as a provider of a safe, friendly, professional service, but also as someone who well versed in child learning theory, and child psychology, and who is able to provide an environment that allows her children to grow in confidence as they learn the social and life skills that will enable them to lead happy and successful lives.
JoJo's Nursery is an evolution of that philosophy. In Jo's business, the wishes of the parents come first, and Jo will always strive to provide a truly bespoke service that fully incorporates the individual needs of her clients.
