  Can anyone recommend an eye dr that can do regular yearly eye exams and/or does corrective vision (lasik or the like) type procedures? Curious if the dry climate, altitude etc would cause any issues when having this type of procedure.

  My husband just had Lasik eye surgery last week at Hoopes vision in Draper. According to our research they are the best in Utah and have the latest in technology and equipment. I've probably spent over $8,000 in contacts, eye exams, and glasses over the past 20 years. Maybe I've been secretly scared that I will go blind after getting it done.

  Misi, I'm worse!!!.. I'm like a -10 ish on my right eye.. hahaha.. lols.. but yeah, I have astigmatism… but I have a condition that's called keratoconus…my cornea is coned shaped so lasik isn't good for me. .. but hoopes has another procedure called PRK that fixes that problem… so need to save up a few G's before i can go do it.. hahahaha.. lols..   Come to SLC… Hoopes Vision has one of the best… haven't gotten it yet, but i will when I get some money.. hahahaha.. lols.. check them out.. they're in Sandy-ish….
