  Hostels for couples Hey London! ​ My girlfriend and I will be passing through London in May and are looking for some recommendations on which hostels to stay at. We are looking for a hostel that has a private room for the two of us as this is my girlfriends first trip out of the country and she is not ready to try the dorm rooms style hostel yet. (I will be making her try that when we get to Amsterdam) ​ Looking for something affordable, in a safe area & close to the city center. ​ Thank you!

  Just go on Booking.com / Tripadvisor / Trivago etc and put your preferences in, you can also try more specialised sites like HostelWorld and Hostelling The main hostel owner in the UK is [YHA](https://www.yha.org.uk/), although there are lots of private ones like Clink. They do have some private rooms in them. But honestly, when it gets to a private room, the pricing becomes quite similar to a small hotel or cheap chain (Premier Inn, Travelodge). Look at places like "hub by Premier Inn" as well, it's a less thrills version in central locations.
