  I second Diamond Dogs at 3800 W. Montrose. 773-398-6765. Small operation, so dogs get personal attention. Sue also does boarding, grooming and walks, cat feeding and such also. She has no problem with half days. Her prices are similar to the big operators, but with more personalized care.

  Does your puppy have its full set of puppy shots? It should before sending it to daycare. Also, it depends on the pup. Some can take rough play and others can't. I've been using Diamond Dogs, a small daycare/boarding facility at 3800 W. Montrose for years. The phone # 773-398-6765. Small facility, very personalized service and Sue, the owner, can assess whether your pup can handle day care. She also does dog walks. Very reliable. Also, I agree with Suzy Thomas. Every dog is different and there is no one answer.
