Anyone have 2 spare door 4" hinge pins to loan? Went to rehang our pantry door today to keep the inquisitive toddler out and can't locate the pins! Alternatively, have a recommendation on where to get the old style pins? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if there is a local salvage store that sells old house doors, lights or flooring?

These guys are awesome! http://www.mrdcorp.com/ This is the best place, hands down, but they are only open on Saturdays; http://www.architecturalartifacts.com/
Dearest Chicagoites, do you know where I can find salvaged wood? I'm looking for a few old wood pieces, perhaps broken picture frames or doors. Ornate mouldings would be great, too.
I'd prefer something in Chicago proper, the 'burbs are foreign territory for me.
edit: I don't want to salvage it, I want to buy it from someone who has done that part.

Oh man. Go to Architectural Artifacts. They have all kinds of things you would need from doors, to furniture, to mantlepieces, to chairs. Some of it looks nice, some of it is all beat up, but all of it is awesome. http://www.architecturalartifacts.com/
