I'm a very proud mum of 2,who loves making all things crafty! My main passions are sewing & knitting!
From a young age I was taught how to make handmade items. My first project was making hand knitted clothes for my Barbie. Bless my grandma she helped me make a whole wardrobe for my her! :-)
At college I studied clothing & fashion which I loved & learned many skills. From there I went onto my first proper job working in a clothing factory. We specialised in making suits, mainly for a tailors on 'Saville row' I was a trainee tailoress. I was taught how to put garments together. After a year I was in charge of making ladies skirts/trousers. Sadly after 3 years I took a change of career as I decided factory work was not for me at such a young age & sadly I lost my spark for sewing :-((
However since the birth of my daughter my spark has been re-lit & I can't get enough of sewing! :-D...
