About us
On location. Natural light. My main focus with my business at this time is Child, Pre-teen, and Family.
My style is very natural and organic. I prefer to photograph without distractions such as big hair pieces or frilly tutus. If there is too much "extra" it takes away from the pureness of the children and the connections of the families.
My love for photography began when I was 10 years old. My mom gave me her old camera and I started taking pictures of birds on our deck (which I still do!). It was rekindled when my daughter was born and my husband gave me my first DSLR camera and has only grown over the past few years. I have FINALLY reached the point with my knowledge and skill that I feel confident enough to officially start Willow Tree Photography.
For those of you wondering how I chose the name - We have a beautiful willow tree in our yard and it is my favorite thing about our home. It has always given me that "happy feeling" to watch it blow in the wind, watch the sun shine through the willow branches or watch my girls swing from it just like their dad did when he was a kid. (Yes, that is a completely true statement!)
