  After a year in NRP, thinking of getting a dog. Not one of those stressed out pits that barks continuously at 6:00AM in the morning. A Doberman, Waimerainer, or a German Shephard. My old neighbor had a fantastic Doberman that never barked, but you'd never want to mess with it. Anyone know any responsible breeders? Not an attack dog. Not what I'm looking for. Can provide plenty of activity including running. Must be good around people and not bark for no reason.

  Hi Robert, please opt to adopt as opposed to purchasing from a "breeder". There are so many dogs literally dying in shelters waiting for a home. If you are looking for a particular breed, there are breed specific rescues. http://www.hsi.org/world/canada/work/puppy_mills/facts/opt_to_adopt.html
