grovertheclover replied:I used Alternative Aire last week to do my pm for the spring/summer, they have a deal going on right now for tuneup, it was about $70 with tax. I scheduled online and they were at my house the next afternoon - http://alternativeaire.com I had been using a different local provider for years, but they kept nickel and diming me for refrigerant, capacitors etc every time they came to do maintenance. Funny that the Alternative Aire folks said that there were no refrigerant leaks.

grovertheclover replied:Avoid Boer Brothers. They used to be good a few years ago, but the past couple times that I've had them out to do the spring preventive service, they have tried to force me into buying a new system. I then had Alternative Aire come out to give me a second opinion - they found the refrigerant leak and repaired it within 20 minutes for less than the cost of the Boer Brothers pm service.
