  Recommendations for an Indian restaurant in Pittsburgh for someone who knows nothing about Indian food or dining. I've been to a couple Indian restaurants, but not only am I unfamiliar with the food, I don't even know if there are specific rules of proper dining I'm breaking. Like, should I eat this plate before that? Is it wrong to mix that with this on the same plate? Any suggestions for a complete novice?

  My favorite is [Tamarind in Greentree.](http://www.tamarindpa.com) Excellent food and never a long wait for a table. Whenever we go there we're the only non-Indian people eating there, which says a lot about the quality of the food.
