  Hi Fairlington! My wife and I are going away for our anniversary October 6-15th and I'm looking for dog boarding for our 2 year old Feist mix, Sammie. My mom was going to take her but it turns out their dog is really sick. I usually go with Rover or Dog Vaycay but since it's a bit of time I haven't had great luck. We take her to Furget Me Not and it is just cost prohibitive for that length of time to do boarding. I've taken a look at the other posts here but they're a little dated and I'm really looking for someone to board her in a home or in our home. Anyone in the neighborhood interested in dog sitting? She's great with other dogs and cats but is scared of children, so it'd have to be a child-free home. We are considering a couple of other options such as someone staying at our house with her or having someone take her to daycare during the day and then spend evenings and nights with her.
