  Though not an interior designer per se, awesome swing dancer Giovanni Quintero is an architect. He has done amazing stuff. Check out some of his works on his website at http://www.gxgcoopdesign.com/index.html. Under "Projects" page, you'll see that work that he did for my mother-in-law. Click on "Forsyth Residence". I totally vouch for his work!
