When we took our healthy puppy for a 6 month visit, they gave him all sorts of shots he didn't need. They wanted $400 to neuter him. We took him to another vet for a regular checkup and ended with a $250 bill for a regular exam. I feel like I am being taken advantage of vets in this area. Can someone recommend a good and honest vet in this area?

I highly recommend Alpharetta Animal Hospital. I have been extremely pleased since switching to them 2 years ago. They spayed my Siamese for ~$150 ish (less I think, but can't remember exactly), and regular exams are in the $50-$100 range. http://www.alpharettaanimalhospital.com Avoid Crabapple Knoll at all costs - **way** overpriced much like the ones you referenced.
