  Long beach animal hospital. They have a wildlife program and work directly with fish and game. I found an injured baby pigeon a few years back and took it there. I realize it's a bit of a drive but at least you know it will be in good hands. www.lbah.com

  Long Beach Animal Hospital I have taken my cats and exotic animals there for over 20 years. They are compassionate and great at what they do. My kitty just had to be put to sleep. He had cancer that couldn't be cured. They totally helped me thru it. Good luck to you and your kitty with who ever you choose to go to.

  I like the family vet, Dr Tran is great. You have to plan ahead and schedule though. They never overbook, which is what allows Dr Tran to provide the excellent service and attention. I personally had a less than pleasant experience at long beach animal hospital where the vet was less than forward with me, and would not recommend them.

  Def Long Beach Animal Hospital with Dr. Ridgeway. I was there earlier today and noticed they have a sign advertising monthly payments for something. But it might be an insurance plan. Not sure. Call them to find out. 562-434-9966.

  Westminster is wonderful, however a bit pricey. Long Beach Animal Hospital on Anaheim also does exotics, I have rabbits. Dr. Sedo (sp?) is who I use there. And Dr. Barnes at Westminster but all the vets at both places are very good.

  I have birds, so finding a good exotics vet is important to me. I find myself comfortable with Dr. Ridgeway at the Long Beach Animal Hospital.

  Dr. Bang does NOT do exotics! He is cats and dogs only. He is GREAT for elderly cats and dogs. The best in Long Beach. Exotics....Westminister or Long Beach Animal Hospital. Or there are some good ones up in the South Bay area....Torrance and Gardenia and I could get those for you if you're interested. I work with a Rabbit rescue up that way. They have some good vet names.

  Michelle Baccaro, LBAH.com She discovered my rescued dachshund has Cushings disease and I believe his life is extended because of the medicine he takes(selegeline). He acts like a happy puppy at the age of 15. She's compassionate and I think she's an awesome vet!
