  I am not sure if this would work, but in the shopping center directly across Rte 7 from Petsmart is a little restaurant called Melt Gourmet Cheeseburgers. They are very pro-Rescue. They even collect donations for local rescues. They allow people to bring their dogs with them when they dine outside on the front sidewalk. Maybe they would allow you to use the front sidewalk area for an event? They are in a stripmall, so lots of foot traffic.
