  I haven't used this guy in JC but I walk by his shop sometimes and it looks great: https://www.decarlosbespoke.com/ I know you said you don't want to go to NYC but I got my wedding suit from Suit Supply's location in SoHo. Pretty easy to get to and I had a good experience there.

He replaced the lining on a vintage coat I had and was quite reasonable.
